Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Sunset. by Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in December 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 3,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Day In Plyos in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 217,250.00 (€ 270,683.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Sunset. von Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky im Dezember 2018 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.500,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Day In Plyos im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 217.250,00 (€ 270.683,94).
