Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2017. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work On The Volga sold for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,121.91) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Day In Plyos in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 217,250.00 (€ 270,683.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit On The Volga für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.121,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Market Day In Plyos im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 217.250,00 (€ 270.683,94).
