Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Solikamsk by Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 33,008.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Market Day In Plyos in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 217,250.00 (€ 270,683.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Solikamsk von Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 33.008,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Market Day In Plyos im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 217.250,00 (€ 270.683,94).
