Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 218,500.00 (€ 164,980.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Volkov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Moonlit mausoleums, which sold at auction in November 2012 for GBP 433,250.00 (€ 533,720.04).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 218.500,00 (€ 164.980,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Volkov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Moonlit mausoleums beobachtet, die im November 2012 für GBP 433.250,00 (€ 533.720,04) versteigert wurde.
