Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Musicians by Alexander Volkov. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 88,124.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Volkov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moonlit mausoleums in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 533,720.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Musicians von Alexander Volkov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 88.124,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Volkov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moonlit mausoleums im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 533.720,04).
