Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work The gathering by Alexander Volkov. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 26,437.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Volkov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moonlit mausoleums in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 533,720.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The gathering von Alexander Volkov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 26.437,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Volkov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moonlit mausoleums im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 533.720,04).
