Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art, which included the work Caravan Study by Alexander Volkov. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,748.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Volkov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moonlit mausoleums in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 533,720.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Caravan Study von Alexander Volkov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.748,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Volkov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moonlit mausoleums im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 533.720,04).
