Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Prometheus by Alexander Tovborg was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,863.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexander Tovborg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work PROVERBS OF HELL (the road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom) lucifer in March last year with an auction result of USD 18,900.00 (€ 17,037.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Prometheus von Alexander Tovborg kam im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.863,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00.
