Auction result well in line with expectations
The work “The Black Lodge”, 2009 by Alexander Tovborg was sold in the CoBrA auction at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year. The price achieved of DKK 44,000.00 (€ 5,902.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Tovborg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work PROVERBS OF HELL (the road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom) lucifer, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 18,900.00 (€ 17,037.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit “The Black Lodge”, 2009 von Alexander Tovborg wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion CoBrA bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 44.000,00 (€ 5.902,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Tovborg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit PROVERBS OF HELL (the road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom) lucifer beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 18.900,00 (€ 17.037,77) versteigert wurde.
