Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Alexander Sitnikov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 3,005.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Sitnikov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Temptation in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 30,500.00 (€ 42,707.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alexander Sitnikov kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 3.005,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Sitnikov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Temptation im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.500,00 (€ 42.707,89).
