A top price for Alexander Pope - as previously expected
The work Trophies Of The Hunt by Alexander Pope was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2016. The price achieved of USD 370,000.00 (€ 332,285.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Trophies Of The Hunt is the most expensive artwork by Alexander Pope that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Trophies Of The Hunt von Alexander Pope kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 370.000,00 (€ 332.285,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden.
