Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,660.23). Admittedly, works by Alexander Coosemans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition À La Corbeille De Fruits, Au Homard Et À La Bouteille En Faïence De Delft in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 75,787.00.

Die Arbeit Fruit, A Pewter Dish And A Roemer On A Partially Draped Table von Alexander Coosemans kam im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.660,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Coosemans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition À La Corbeille De Fruits, Au Homard Et À La Bouteille En Faïence De Delft im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.787,00.
