Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Still Life With Lemons, Oysters And Cherries; Still Life With Peaches And Figs by Alexander Coosemans. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,044.88), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Coosemans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition À La Corbeille De Fruits, Au Homard Et À La Bouteille En Faïence De Delft, which sold at auction in June 2012 for EUR 75,787.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Lemons, Oysters And Cherries; Still Life With Peaches And Figs von Alexander Coosemans zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.044,88) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexander Coosemans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition À La Corbeille De Fruits, Au Homard Et À La Bouteille En Faïence De Delft beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für EUR 75.787,00 versteigert wurde.
