Auction result misses estimated price range

In July 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Peaches, grapes, corn on the cob, pomegranates and a melon on a stone floor by Alexander Coosemans for GBP 5,400.00 (€ 8,020.25). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Alexander Coosemans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition À La Corbeille De Fruits, Au Homard Et À La Bouteille En Faïence De Delft in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 75,787.00.

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Juli 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Peaches, grapes, corn on the cob, pomegranates and a melon on a stone floor von Alexander Coosemans für GBP 5.400,00 (€ 8.020,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master and British Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Coosemans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition À La Corbeille De Fruits, Au Homard Et À La Bouteille En Faïence De Delft im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 75.787,00.
