Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jewish Wedding by Alexander Labas was sold in the Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 101,846.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexander Labas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Army Soldier In The Far East, which sold at auction in November 2014 for GBP 290,500.00 (€ 365,238.70).

Die Arbeit Jewish Wedding von Alexander Labas wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Russian Pictures Including Works on Paper by Natalia Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 101.846,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
