Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work A Departing Ship by Alexander Labas. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 39,501.05). Admittedly, works by Alexander Labas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Army Soldier In The Far East in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 290,500.00 (€ 365,238.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Departing Ship von Alexander Labas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 39.501,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Labas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Army Soldier In The Far East im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 290.500,00 (€ 365.238,70).
