Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings Day Sale, which included the work The Neva Embankment by Alexander Labas. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,460.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Labas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Army Soldier In The Far East in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 290,500.00 (€ 365,238.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Neva Embankment von Alexander Labas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.460,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Labas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Army Soldier In The Far East im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 290.500,00 (€ 365.238,70).
