Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On Our Street From The October Series by Alexander Labas was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 34,359.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Labas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Army Soldier In The Far East in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 290,500.00 (€ 365,238.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit On Our Street From The October Series von Alexander Labas kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 34.359,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Labas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Army Soldier In The Far East im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 290.500,00 (€ 365.238,70).
