Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life With Sweetmeats by Alexander Adriaenssen for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,135.12). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Adriaenssen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 33,460.00 (€ 47,355.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life With Sweetmeats von Alexander Adriaenssen für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.135,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Adriaenssen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 33.460,00 (€ 47.355,12).
