A top price for Alexander Adriaenssen - as previously expected
The work Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table by Alexander Adriaenssen was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 33,460.00 (€ 47,355.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table is the most expensive artwork by Alexander Adriaenssen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table von Alexander Adriaenssen kam im Dezember 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alexander Adriaenssen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
