Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life with fish and a lobster on a table by Alexander Adriaenssen was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2008. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,493.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Adriaenssen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 33,460.00 (€ 47,355.12).

Die Arbeit Still life with fish and a lobster on a table von Alexander Adriaenssen kam im Juli 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.493,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexander Adriaenssen erzielen.
