Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a bread roll, a roemer and fish on a partly draped table by Alexander Adriaenssen was sold in the OLD MASTER PICTURES auction at Christies in London in April 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,365.00 (€ 10,899.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexander Adriaenssen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 33,460.00 (€ 47,355.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a bread roll, a roemer and fish on a partly draped table von Alexander Adriaenssen wurde im April 2003 in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Adriaenssen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 33.460,00 (€ 47.355,12).
