Admittedly, works by Alexander Adriaenssen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses and an iris in a glass vase, crabs and prawns on a pewter platter, a Façon-de-Venise wineglass, a stoneware ewer, a bunch of grapes, a bread roll and a roemer on a partly-draped table in December 2004 with an auction result of GBP 33,460.00 (€ 47,355.12).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.584,80) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%.
