Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alex Ruthner could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 813.00 (€ 965.45) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alex Ruthner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wiesenstück in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,406.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alex Ruthner konnte im April 2017 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 813,00 (€ 965,45) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Ruthner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wiesenstück im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.406,88).
