This artwork by Alex Prager achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Photographs auction, the work 'Sunset Junction', 2018 sold for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,355.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alex Prager have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crowd #2 (Emma) in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,192.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alex Prager erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit 'Sunset Junction', 2018 für GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.355,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Prager auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Crowd #2 (Emma) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.192,26).
