Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work June by Alex Prager. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,355.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alex Prager have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crowd #2 (Emma) in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,192.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit June von Alex Prager zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.355,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Prager auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Crowd #2 (Emma) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.192,26).
