Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Phillips in 29 June - held the auction Let Loose: Online Auction, which included the work Love-Peace by Alex Face. The price achieved of HKD 203,200.00 (€ 23,639.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 260,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex Face - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Breathe, which sold at auction in March this year for HKD 533,400.00 (€ 62,455.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 29 June - die Auktion Let Loose: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Love-Peace von Alex Face zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 203.200,00 (€ 23.639,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Alex Face mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Breathe beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für HKD 533.400,00 (€ 62.455,68) versteigert wurde.
