Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Black Tiger by Alex Face was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The price achieved of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 8,984.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alex Face have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Breathe in March this year with an auction result of HKD 533,400.00 (€ 62,455.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Black Tiger von Alex Face kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 8.984,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Face auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Breathe im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 533.400,00 (€ 62.455,68).
