Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alex Face could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in May 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the REFRESH:RELOAD Online Auction auction, the work Trinity Cat changed hands for HKD 3,500.00 (€ 406.83) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 6,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alex Face achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Breathe in March this year with an auction result of HKD 533,400.00 (€ 62,455.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alex Face konnte im Mai 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion REFRESH:RELOAD Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Trinity Cat für HKD 3.500,00 (€ 406,83) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 6.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alex Face erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Breathe im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 533.400,00 (€ 62.455,68).
