Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Alex Face achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in Online Auction in September 2020. In the Intersect: Online Auction auction, the work Love-Peace sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 17,889.14) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alex Face - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Breathe, which sold at auction in March this year for HKD 533,400.00 (€ 62,455.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alex Face erzielte im September 2020 bei Phillips in Online Auction einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Intersect: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Love-Peace für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 17.889,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alex Face mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Breathe beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für HKD 533.400,00 (€ 62.455,68) versteigert wurde.
