A top price for Alex Face - as previously expected
The work Breathe by Alex Face was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. The price achieved of HKD 533,400.00 (€ 62,455.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Breathe is the most expensive artwork by Alex Face that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Breathe von Alex Face kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 533.400,00 (€ 62.455,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Breathe das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alex Face, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
