This artwork by Alessandro Magnasco achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in April 2018. In the Arredi e Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Historica auction, the work Sant'Antonio da Padova predica ai pesci sold for EUR 14,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Magnasco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The singing lesson in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 168,000.00 (€ 249,518.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alessandro Magnasco erzielte im April 2018 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arredi e Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Historica wurde die Arbeit Sant'Antonio da Padova predica ai pesci für EUR 14.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Magnasco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The singing lesson im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 168.000,00 (€ 249.518,78).
