Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hagar And The Angel by Alessandro Magnasco was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2017. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,158.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alessandro Magnasco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The singing lesson in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 168,000.00 (€ 249,518.78).

Die Arbeit Hagar And The Angel von Alessandro Magnasco kam im Juli 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.158,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alessandro Magnasco erzielen.
