Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work An Artist At An Easel And Other Figures In An Interior by Alessandro Magnasco. The price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 51,929.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alessandro Magnasco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The singing lesson in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 168,000.00 (€ 249,518.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Artist At An Easel And Other Figures In An Interior von Alessandro Magnasco zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 51.929,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alessandro Magnasco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The singing lesson im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 168.000,00 (€ 249.518,78).
