This artwork by Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the Russian Art and Paintings auction, the work The Forest River sold for GBP 38,900.00 (€ 54,470.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,482,500.00 (€ 1,137,235.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko erzielte im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Art and Paintings wurde die Arbeit The Forest River für GBP 38.900,00 (€ 54.470,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.482.500,00 (€ 1.137.235,35).
