Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fetching Wood by Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko was sold in the Russian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 34,359.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,482,500.00 (€ 1,137,235.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fetching Wood von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Russian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 34.359,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.482.500,00 (€ 1.137.235,35).
