Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Standing Nude by Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 153,264.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,482,500.00 (€ 1,137,235.35).

Die Arbeit Standing Nude von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 153.264,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.482.500,00 (€ 1.137.235,35).
