It achieved a price of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 122,927.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Admittedly, works by Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,482,500.00 (€ 1,137,235.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape With Apple Tree von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko kam im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 122.927,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.482.500,00 (€ 1.137.235,35).
