Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art and Paintings, which included the work Russian Province, Going For Water by Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko. The price achieved of GBP 34,100.00 (€ 47,748.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,482,500.00 (€ 1,137,235.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Art and Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Russian Province, Going For Water von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 34.100,00 (€ 47.748,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aleksey Ilych Kravchenko erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Fairytale, Circa 1920S im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.482.500,00 (€ 1.137.235,35).
