Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work SAS-Douglas DC-9 by Aleksandra Mir for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,052.95). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Part II at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house.
