In the 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures auction, the work View of Russian church, Perm sold for GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,159.06) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Vladimirovich Makovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Market Day In Plyos in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 217,250.00 (€ 270,683.94).
