Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Alejandro Otero for USD 68,750.00 (€ 65,091.84). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coloritmo 57 in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alejandro Otero für USD 68.750,00 (€ 65.091,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coloritmo 57 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40).
