Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sin Título (Estudio Para Tablón) by Alejandro Otero was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,129.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coloritmo 57 in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 790,000.00 (€ 747,964.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sin Título (Estudio Para Tablón) von Alejandro Otero kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 56.129,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coloritmo 57 im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 790.000,00 (€ 747.964,40).
