The work One of the Lovelist Shadow by Alejandro Cardenas was sold in the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 819,000.00 (€ 98,166.23), 64% above the upper estimate. This high result makes One of the Lovelist Shadow the most expensive artwork by Alejandro Cardenas that we have observed at auctions so far.
