Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alejandro Cardenas could be acquired at Christies in Brussels in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work New Morning at the Rocks 4/6 changed hands for GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,680.98) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alejandro Cardenas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work One of the Lovelist Shadow in May this year with an auction result of HKD 819,000.00 (€ 98,166.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alejandro Cardenas konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in Brüssel für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit New Morning at the Rocks 4/6 für GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.680,98) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Cardenas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit One of the Lovelist Shadow im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 819.000,00 (€ 98.166,23).
