Admittedly, works by Alec Soth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Charles, Vasa, Minnesota in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 113,400.00 (€ 94,264.34).

Die Arbeit Cemetery, Fountain City, Wisconsin von Alec Soth kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.450,00 (€ 9.512,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alec Soth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Charles, Vasa, Minnesota im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 113.400,00 (€ 94.264,34).
