In March this year Bonhams held the auction Pictures and Prints Online, which included the work Rabbits unframed, but mounted by Alberto Morrocco. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 255.00 (€ 290.11), 70% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Morrocco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Natura Morta Napolitana in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 98,400.00 (€ 146,327.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Pictures and Prints Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rabbits unframed, but mounted von Alberto Morrocco zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 255,00 (€ 290,11) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Morrocco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Natura Morta Napolitana im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.400,00 (€ 146.327,02).
