Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Clown Contemplating by Alberto Morrocco. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,320.00 (€ 9,553.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Morrocco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande Natura Morta Napolitana in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 98,400.00 (€ 146,327.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Clown Contemplating von Alberto Morrocco zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.320,00 (€ 9.553,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Morrocco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande Natura Morta Napolitana im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.400,00 (€ 146.327,02).
