Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Still Life - Orange and Pink by Alberto Morrocco. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,950.00 (€ 26,702.48). Admittedly, works by Alberto Morrocco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grande Natura Morta Napolitana in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 98,400.00 (€ 146,327.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life - Orange and Pink von Alberto Morrocco zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.950,00 (€ 26.702,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alberto Morrocco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grande Natura Morta Napolitana im August 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.400,00 (€ 146.327,02).
