Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Christies in London held the auction 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale, which included the work Nero Plastica L.A. by Alberto Burri. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000,000.00 – 9,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,587,000.00 (€ 7,652,220.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alberto Burri have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2016 the work Sacco E Rosso was auctioned for GBP 9,109,000.00 (€ 11,672,058.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nero Plastica L.A. von Alberto Burri zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000.000,00 – 9.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.587.000,00 (€ 7.652.220,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alberto Burri konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2016 die Arbeit Sacco E Rosso für GBP 9.109.000,00 (€ 11.672.058,70) versteigert.
